Description
Coco bristle is the longest variety of coir fibre. It is manufactured from retted coconut husks through a process called defibering. The coir fibre thus extracted is then combed using steel combs to make the fibre clean and to remove short fibres. The immature husks are kept in a water-filled pit for six months. During this time, micro organisms break down the plant tissues surrounding the fibres and loosen them - a process known as retting. Then long fibres are separated by milling process and subsequently dried and cleaned. Bristle coir fibre is used as bristles in brushes for domestic and industrial applications. The Bristle fiber is long and strong fibres which is most commonly use in brush and broom manufacturing industries. Bristle fibres are commonly termed bristle fibre or brush fibre. Long and strong fibers commonly used in brush and broom manufacturing industries. The stiff, straight and long strands of fiber are termed bristle fiber or brush fiber. The basic grade of bristle fiber is known as 1Tie fiber. This is then further hackled and classified into 2 Tie and 3 Tie based on the length of strands and the general condition of fibers like Moisture and Impurity.
